Cheltenham Art

Cheltenham Spa Map

The Cheltenham Open Air Art Exhibition is located in the centre of Cheltenham for 4 weeks during each summer.  It can be found in the Imperial Gardens, a landscaped park rich with flowers.  There is an open-air bar alongside the Art Exhibition that regularly hosts live music during the Cheltenham Festival.

The Imperial Gardens are located at the end of The Promenade as you walk towards Montpellier.  The Exhibition faces the prestigious Queen's Hotel, and is alongside the Town Hall.  The paintings are hung upon and protected by scaffolding, which is certainly more pragmatic than picturesque.  Either way, you can't miss it!  In the photo below you can see a brass band setting up in preparation for a live performance.
