Jane Ware

Jane Ware is a self-taught and enthusiastic amateur artist with a growing reputation for original and creative artwork.
 
"My introduction to art started with an early education, aged 3, at Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School in Stourbridge – which offered progressive teaching as a balance for the physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs of each child. 

"I moved to Cheltenham with my parents in 1968 and took with me a love and enthusiasm for all things creative. 

"I have exhibited annually at The Cheltenham Open Air Art Exhibition  since 1975 - where I sold my very first painting of a poppy for £6! - and have been a Committee member for 3 years.  in 2009, I was delighted to have been elected as Chair.  

"I enjoy walking in the Cotswolds with family, friends and Springer Spaniels, painting local scenes and capturing holiday memories; from seagulls in St. Ives to sunsets in South Africa!"
